Founded in 1998 by Tammy Pettinicchi Gaynor, the goal at Nutmeg Performing Arts Centre is to provide professional dance instruction in a pleasant, positive environment. Nutmeg Performing Arts Centre believes in a dance education that inspires young people to do their best inside and outside of the dance studio. Through proper dance training with highly experienced staff, your child will participate in a physical activity that will inspire dedication, teamwork, and discipline as well as other qualities that will last long after their dance classes are over.   

Nutmeg Performing Arts Centre offers both recreational and competitive dance classes. Our competition team dances in regional and national competitions, winning numerous overall awards and special judge's awards. They train extensively in both their technique and choreography classes. Students are expected to excel in technique, remember choreography, and attend all practices and competitions in a respectful manner.

*Dancers who wish to participate on the Competition Level must audition. This process begins during the Summer Intensive Dance Camp. Please contact the studio for more information*

We are excited to announce that our studio has entered a new partnership program with CLI Studios. CLI connects LA's top choreographers with a select group of dance studios around the world. Through this new program, our teachers and students will have online access to choreography and classes from So You Think You Can Dance stars such as Travis Wall, Twitch, Allison Holker, and Teddy Forance.
